Apple iPhone 11 review
The iPhone XR was the first commercial success that came on the second attempt for making a more affordable iPhone. The iPhone 5c failed to impress in 2013, and we thought we'd never see the maker give this idea another try.

Apple's new iPhone 11 is, for all intents and purposes, an iPhone XR on steroids. It reiterates the simple formula that made the iPhone XR hugely popular – delivering great performance while being an affordable entry into the Apple ecosystem.
Pros:
- Snappy performance

- Speakers are LOUD
- Cool design and colors
- Face ID is fast and reliable
- Affordable pricing
Cons:
- Extremely SLOW charger in the box
- Display leaves a lot to be desired
- Battery life could be better

Pros:
- Even faster speed, improved battery life
- The iPhone 11's cameras get an excellent new Night Mode and an ultrawide-angle camera that can add extra detail in photos
- Fantastic video camera
Cons:
- Only Pro models get the 2x telephoto
- The ultrawide-angle camera doesn't add Night Mode
- No USB-C port
- The Pro phones have a faster 18-watt charger but iPhone 11 doesn't
- Still has a good (but not OLED) display

Apple iPhone 11 review: the phone most people should buy
This is one of the simplest reviews I've ever had to write: the iPhone 11 is the phone most people who are upgrading to a new iPhone this year should get. It's an excellent phone, with one of the best cameras I've ever seen on a smartphone and terrific battery life.
Pros:
- Excellent camera
- Terrific battery life
- Lower price
Cons:
- iOS 13 is buggy
- Just one fairly large size
- Get out of here with this 5W charger
- The garden is beautiful
- but the walls grow ever higher

iPhone 11 Review
Apple has seen what most people want from the iPhone 11. Unless you’re a complete sucker for an OLED display, or particularly want the zoomed telephoto lens, there isn’t much you’re missing out on by not getting the Pro model. Especially when you consider the over £300/$300 saving you’re making. If you’re coming from an iPhone XR you might want to wait a year and see what the 2020 iPhone brings. However, if you’re updating an older iPhone then you’ll notice the vast array of improvements to camera, battery life and overall design straight away.
Pros:
- Great camera
- Long-lasting battery
- Really nice colour options
- Surprisingly excellent value for an Apple phone
Cons:
- A screen resolution bump would have been nice
- Still no fast charger in the box
