- Physical design looks and feels great
- Excellent cameras
- A14 Bionic performance is stellar

- 5G is nice
- but not reason alone to upgrade
- Battery life doesn't match last year
- Still Lightning not USB-C

Apple's iPhone 12 is probably the one you should get. Save that $200 and put them towards some cool accessories.
Pros:
- New design is pretty and compact
- OLED screen
- finally! MagSafe is cool and has potential
- Outstanding performance
- One of the best cameras on a smartphone
Cons:
- No charger
- no headphones in the box
- 64 GB of storage is fine
- but feels a bit stingy in current ecosystem
- No telephoto lens
- No ultra high refresh rate

The combination of an updated design, the Super Retina XDR OLED display, improvements to the camera and great performance, the iPhone 12 is the iPhone that most people should buy this year.

The main takeaway from my time with iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini is that across the board, the average iPhone user likely won't need the features that the iPhone 12 Pro offer
Pros:
- Features a great-looking OLED screen
- Redesign is great
- Specs are very similar to the iPhone 12 Pro
Cons:
- It's more expensive than the iPhone 11 was at launch
- No telephoto lens
- Some might not be fond of the redesign

iPhone 12 Review
The iPhone 12 truly is a notable jump for Apple’s mainline phone and it now feels almost as Pro as the actual Pro model. For £799/$799, this is a seriously complete device.
Pros:
- Fantastic new design reminiscent of the iPhone 5
- Exceptional performance
- Very reliable cameras
Cons:
- Screen lacks some of the benefits you’ll find elsewhere
- If the notch annoyed you before, it’ll annoy you again

Apple iPhone 12 (64GB, Blue) - Excellent review
The iPhone 12 is a great all-around device and a good middle-ground between the cheaper iPhone 12 Mini and SE and the more expensive iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. If you’re looking at the iPhone 12 series, the middle of the road iPhone 12 should be the one to get for most people.
Pros:
- The new design and colours are nice (especially the blue), Great camera and can shoot Dolby Vision video (at 30fps), Good battery life with long standby time, A14 Bionic offers quick performance, Wireless charging and fast charge support, The OLED screen looks great and is the same as the iPhone 12...
Cons:
- iOS 14 needs a bit more work, More expensive than the previous models, The MagSafe ecosystem is cool and has potential but not great now

Apple iPhone 12 (64GB, Blue) - Excellent review
Even without the third camera, there’s a lot to like about the iPhone 12, which offers some handy little improvements on the iPhone 11, a phone that stays in the 2020 Apple line-up. The two cameras have been tightened up and feel better than last time, and the whole phone is faster overall.
