Apple iPhone 13 256GB - Blue MLQA3X/A review
Small improvements make the iPhone 13 a better smartphone than the 12, but it’s no longer the best-value iPhone- More storage, Sensor shift stabilisation, Brighter display
- Most upgrades will be barely noticeable, No 120Hz display
Apple iPhone 13 256GB - Blue MLQA3X/A review
The iPhone 13 is Apple’s mid-range offering, and as such, it’s only fair to expect a mid-range performance - and that’s especially true of the on-board camera.- Cheaper than the iPhone 13 Pro, Cinematic Video mode included, Improved camera compared to last year’s iPhone 12
- No raw format shooting, No telephoto lens, No macro mode
Apple iPhone 13 256GB - Blue MLQA3X/A review
The iPhone 13 is the most appealing offering from Apple this year if one were to consider price, the battery life and the overall camera performance. If you are on an iPhone XS or older, and wish to upgrade this year, this would be my solid recommendation.
Apple iPhone 13 256GB - Blue MLQA3X/A review
The iPhone 13 keeps everything that was great about the iPhone 12, cuts £20 off the price, doubles the starting storage and adds two meaningful upgrades: longer battery life and a better camera.- Pros: better cameras, water resistant, Face ID, longer battery life, great performance, great screen with smaller notch, durable and easy to hold, 5G, long software support.
- Cons: no USB-C, need your own charger, no telephoto camera, screen slower than competition and 13 Pro.
Apple iPhone 13 Pro review: The best of the best
I’ll say it upfront; the iPhone 13 Pro is the new iPhone model you should buy if you can afford it. Unlike last year’s iPhone 12 Pro, it has all the same capabilities as the larger Pro Max model. You’ll remember that last year, the 12 Pro Max had bigger camera sensors, giving it better lowlight performance and 3x optical zoom, rather than 2x. Not so this year. The iPhone 13 Pro has all the guts of the 13 Pro Max (aside from battery capacity and screen size, of course) without busting your hand or your wallet. Add into the mix the powerful A15 Bionic processor, 120Hz ProMotion display, battery life that can last almost two days, and excellent camera performance, and you get the best iPhone 13 model in the entire lineup. The iPhone 13 Pro I reviewed came in gold, which isn’t my color of choice, but you work with what you have. Both the front and the back are protected by Ceramic Glass and there’s a squared-off stainless steel strip running along the sides, setting it apart in quality fro...- Packs lots of power into the size
- Incredible camera and video performance
- Very long-lasting battery
- Smooth and responsive 120Hz screen
- Comes with 1TB storage option
- No USB-C
- Not all third-party apps are optimized for higher refresh screen
Apple iPhone 13 256GB - Blue MLQA3X/A review
“The iPhone 13 continues to be Apple's mainstay model, offering most of the value of the Pro at a lower price.”
Apple iPhone 13 256GB - Blue MLQA3X/A review
Apple's iPhone 13 delivers the best blend of performance, camera quality, and battery life at the right price for most people.- Long battery life, Fast, smooth performance, Camera makes it easy for anyone to take good photos
- Not much of an upgrade over the iPhone 12
Apple iPhone 13 256GB - Blue MLQA3X/A review
In my opinion, the iPhone 13 is a bigger update to the series than the iPhone 12 was. The iPhone 12 represented a major design update, and one that I’m glad has stuck around. But the iPhone 13 offers improvements where it really counts — the battery, and the camera.
Apple iPhone 13 5G (256GB, Pink) AU - Pristine review
Those niggles aren’t enough to sour us on the iPhone 13, as it’s a really great phone. While the iPhone 12 was an easy phone to like, the iPhone 13 is easier to adore. This phone takes everything that worked about the iPhone 12 and somehow makes the package even better.- Lovely design, Great camera, Cinematic mode extends the camera's capability, Low-light camera works a treat, Solid performance, Supports 5G, Battery capable of hitting a full day, Wireless charging, Water resistance
- No macro mode, No 120Hz display
Apple iPhone 13 256GB - Blue MLQA3X/A review
Time to upgrade.- Impressive cameras. 128 gigabytes of base storage. Longer battery life on the full-size model.
- Battery on the Mini is a bit weak. Otherwise there’s not much to dislike.
