Apple iPhone 13 Pro review: The best of the best
I’ll say it upfront; the iPhone 13 Pro is the new iPhone model you should buy if you can afford it. Unlike last year’s iPhone 12 Pro, it has all the same capabilities as the larger Pro Max model. You’ll remember that last year, the 12 Pro Max had bigger camera sensors, giving it better lowlight performance and 3x optical zoom, rather than 2x. Not so this year. The iPhone 13 Pro has all the guts of the 13 Pro Max (aside from battery capacity and screen size, of course) without busting your hand or your wallet. Add into the mix the powerful A15 Bionic processor, 120Hz ProMotion display, battery life that can last almost two days, and excellent camera performance, and you get the best iPhone 13 model in the entire lineup. - Incredible camera and video performance
- Very long-lasting battery
- Smooth and responsive 120Hz screen
- Comes with 1TB storage option
Cons:
- No USB-C
- Not all third-party apps are optimized for higher refresh screen

Apple iPhone 13 256GB - Blue MLQA3X/A review
The iPhone 13 keeps everything that was great about the iPhone 12, cuts £20 off the price, doubles the starting storage and adds two meaningful upgrades: longer battery life and a better camera.
Pros:
- Pros: better cameras, water resistant, Face ID, longer battery life, great performance, great screen with smaller notch, durable and easy to hold, 5G, long software support.
Cons:
- Cons: no USB-C, need your own charger, no telephoto camera, screen slower than competition and 13 Pro.

The iPhone 13 is the most appealing offering from Apple this year if one were to consider price, the battery life and the overall camera performance. If you are on an iPhone XS or older, and wish to upgrade this year, this would be my solid recommendation.

The iPhone 13 is Apple’s mid-range offering, and as such, it’s only fair to expect a mid-range performance - and that’s especially true of the on-board camera.
Pros:
- Cheaper than the iPhone 13 Pro, Cinematic Video mode included, Improved camera compared to last year’s iPhone 12

- No raw format shooting, No telephoto lens, No macro mode

Small improvements make the iPhone 13 a better smartphone than the 12, but it’s no longer the best-value iPhone
Pros:
- More storage, Sensor shift stabilisation, Brighter display
Cons:
- Most upgrades will be barely noticeable, No 120Hz display

Unlucky number? Doesn't matter! The 13th generation of one of the mainstays among smartphones is now once again trying to appease Apple fans and convert Android disciples. To accomplish this, it features a new processor, longer battery life and sensor shift image stabilization.
Pros:
- very bright OLED display..., ...with excellent color accuracy, sharp pictures with good contrast, one of the fastest smartphones, good battery life, wide variety of accessories available, good signal strength, fast Wi-Fi
Cons:
- display limited to 60 Hz, mediocre sound at maximum volume, no macro lens, case noticeably warm under load, wide notch

iPhone 13 review: The best keeps getting better
Aside from a couple of small omissions, the iPhone 13 is a fantastic device that puts most of the competition to shame. Thanks to some welcome improvements to the camera and battery, plus the larger 128GB base storage, it no longer feels like as much of a step down from the Pro and Pro Max.
Pros:
- Improved camera, Cinematic mode is incredible, Great battery life, Larger 128GB base model storage

- Only 60Hz screen, Faster charging would be nice

Apple’s everyday iPhone gets some decent upgrades
Pros:
- Excellent battery life, Welcome camera improvements, So much power, 128GB base storage
Cons:
- No macro or telephoto, Lightning rather than USB-C, iPhone 12 offers most of the same for less

The iPhone 13 has everything that you would want in a smartphone. It has an eye-catching design, excellent performance, battery life that will give you no reason to complain and consistent cameras.
