Apple iPhone 13 Mini (128GB, Midnight) - Excellent review

Overall, we can’t really recommend upgrading from an iPhone 12 model to this, but for anyone with an older iPhone or an Android phone, the iPhone 13 Mini could make a great change, especially if you’re after a compact phone.
Pros:
  • Improved battery life, Great cameras, Exceptional power
Cons:
  • No telephoto camera, No 120Hz screen, High price for small upgrades

Apple iPhone 13 Mini 128GB - (Product) Red MLK33X/A review

The iPhone 13 mini is without doubt the best small phone you can get. The few competitors that exist are usually cut-down, cheaper models with compromised experiences, where the 13 mini is a full iPhone, just condensed.
Pros:
  • Pros: small and easy to hold, great camera, water-resistant, MagSafe, Face ID, top performance, great screen, 5G, long software support.
Cons:
  • Cons: no USB-C, need your own charger, no telephoto camera, screen may be too small for many, not cheap.

Apple iPhone 13 Mini (128GB, Pink) - Pristine review

Despite the battery life dilemma, the iPhone 13 Mini is still something worth checking out, and for much the same reason as the 12 Mini last year: compact powerhouses typically don’t exist anymore, and are usually hampered in some what. Big phones are the rage.
Pros:
  • Great design, Small body in a world where small phones don't exist, Great camera, Supports the cinematic mode of the larger iPhone 13, Solid performance, Supports 5G, Wireless charging with either Qi or MagSafe, Water resistance
Cons:
  • No macro mode, No 120Hz display, Phone can't hit a full day of battery life

Apple iPhone 13 Mini 128GB - (Product) Red MLK33X/A review

It is one of the great conundrums of modern-day technology: why have small phones disappeared? Blame it on the constant need to consume content — especially video — on the smartphones or just that people have become used to big screen phones but the casualty has been compact phones.
Pros:
  • Compact size, Excellent performance, Impressive cameras

Apple iPhone 13 Mini 128GB - (Product) Red MLK33X/A review

The iPhone 13 Mini is a brilliant proposition if you don't already own the iPhone 12 Mini, but less so if you do. For owners of older iPhones, particularly those looking for a smaller handset, it's a no-brainer: the photo and video quality is superb, with Cinematic mode adding a new tool to your...

Apple iPhone 13 Mini 128GB - (Product) Red MLK33X/A review

If you don’t like carrying jumbo-sized phones, the iPhone 13 mini is worth looking at. This is a regular, fully capable iPhone in a compact size and that to me changes the way you use a phone.

Apple iPhone 13 Mini review

The Mini is the cheapest entry in the iPhone 13 line, but you won’t get one because of pricing. Or rather, you shouldn’t, because if you need to save cash, the iPhone 12 now costs the same and has a bigger display – albeit an inferior camera and half the storage. Instead, the Mini is all about the form factor, offering you a (nearly) compromise-free option when you want the full-fat iPhone experience without, well, the fat. Is it perfect? No. Battery life, while improved, remains a trade-off, and this iPhone can be fiddly to use. But this is by some margin the best phone available in a tiny package. Let’s hope more people buy one this time – and that Apple doesn’t tire of making small phones by next year.
Pros:
  • Improved cameras
  • Better battery life
  • Uncompromised power
  • Nothing else like it
Cons:
  • No telephoto/macro
  • Can be fiddly to use
  • The notch is annoying
  • No Touch ID
