Apple iPhone 14 review: meet the iPhone 13S
A slight camera upgrade, new emergency features, and... not a whole lot elseApple iPhone 14 Dual SIM 5G (6GB RAM, 256GB, Starlight) - BRAND NEW review
Apple has given select media outlets and YouTubers access to the new iPhone 14 ahead of when it begins arriving in customers' hands on Friday, September 16. There are two models of the iPhone 14, the standard 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the larger 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus.
Apple iPhone 14 Dual SIM 5G (6GB RAM, 256GB, Starlight) - BRAND NEW review
I have the 13 and with IOS 16 there are enough add-one to decipher that upgrading to a 14 is not my priority at this time. I will say though that Apple IPhone is the best out there, hands down. If you have an Android, switch over you”ll not regret it.
Apple iPhone 14 Review: Getting Flashbacks
That's not to say the iPhone 14 is disappointing . More a reflection that last year's iPhone is still competitive, and that the considerations around price feel more relevant at this point in the market versus those considering splashing out on an iPhone 14 Pro.- Improved low-light camera performance, Clever safety features (you hope you won't need)
- Improvements feel evolutionary, eSIM may prove a headache, iPhone 13 offers much the same for $100 less
Apple iPhone 14 (256GB, Blue) AU - Excellent review
The iPhone 14 is very similar to the iPhone 13, which itself was very similar to the iPhone 12. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad phone — it’s just less of an upgrade for anyone using a phone that’s only two years old.
Apple iPhone 14 Dual SIM 5G (6GB RAM, 256GB, Starlight) - BRAND NEW review
The same iPhone you already know (and love?)...
Apple iPhone 14 Dual SIM 5G (6GB RAM, 256GB, Starlight) - BRAND NEW review
The Apple iPhone 14 plays it safe, both in its design and hardware, and that makes the iPhone 14 Pro the more attractive option this year than it may have been in previous years.- Great design, Lovely colour options, Excellent display, Upgraded main camera, Good battery life
- No design changes, No Always-on Display, Performance upgrades are minor
Apple iPhone 14 (256GB, Blue) AU - Excellent review
Between the lack of obvious differences and the questionable value, it's difficult to recommend the iPhone 14. It's not that the iPhone 14 is bad, because it's not. This is a great phone, though it's one where the differences are largely negligible.- Still a nice design, Slightly improved camera, Autofocus camera on the front is handy, Solid performance, Wireless charging, Water resistance
- No 120Hz display, Satellite calling feature doesn't work outside the US or Canada, Not much has changed: this is basically last year's iPhone, Value is questionable when there's not much of a difference
Apple iPhone 14 Dual SIM 5G (6GB RAM, 256GB, Starlight) - BRAND NEW review
The iPhone 14 has enough new features to make it an excellent choice if you are looking to upgrade from an older iPhone. While it’s not a huge leap up from the previous model, the new camera features will be enough to make iPhone 13 users jealous.- Action Mode is brilliant, Faster low light shots so you don’t have to hold the iPhone still for as long
- Price increase in many parts of the world, No Dynamic Island or always-on display, Few changes as compared to the now cheaper iPhone 13
You'll Need a Magnifying Glass to Find the iPhone 14's Upgrades
It’s a great handset, but the improvements are so iterative that most of you will hardly notice what’s new.- Action mode offers truly superb video stabilization. eSIM makes it easy to switch phones (with other iPhones). Satellite SOS and Crash Detection add peace of mind.
- Many of the specs remain the same as on the iPhone 13. Small battery gains. Photonic Engine isn’t as revolutionary as suggested.
