The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus get all sorts of new features that bring them more in line with the pro models.
Pros:
- Camera Control is kinda cool!, A18 chip brings improved performance, You get an Action Button, Better battery life, Faster wired and wireless charging
Cons:
- Camera Control isn’t perfect, Still no ProMotion

The iPhone 16 Pro is now my gold standard for phone photography
Apple's iPhone 16 Pro line features a few notable upgrades over last year's iPhone 15 Pro, including a dedicated camera button, a new A18 Pro chip, a bigger screen, and several AI-powered Apple Intelligence features.

- The Camera Control button is great, The A18 Pro is powerful, It still features the best phone display
Cons:
- Apple Intelligence's features are delayed, Nearly identical to the iPhone 15, Camer Control button can be finicky

iPhone 16 Review: How Untypical, Apple!
Apple introduced its new iPhone models with the accompanying motto, "It's Glowtime". The in-house AI integration of "Apple Intelligence" was supposed to make the iPhone glow, it's just a shame that it's not ready yet. Is it still worth upgrading to the iPhone 16?

Cons:
- Lags behind the competition without AI integration, Only 60 Hz refresh rate for the display, Camera Control is only really practical in landscape mode

The iPhone 16 Pro is the best compact flagship phone you can buy, avoiding the battery life issues that affect the Pixel 9 Pro. However, the headlining AI features are disappointingly unavailable right now, and other bugbears like slow charging remain.

It might not be that exciting for iPhone 15 owners, but for older iPhone owners, there’s a lot to love about the iPhone 16 experience – it’s just a shame the screen is still capped at 60Hz.
Pros:
- New Action Button & Camera Controls, Two-generation jump in processing power, Relatively compact and portable
Cons:
- Camera Control placement isn’t ideal, Apple Intelligence isn’t the best – yet, No telephoto lens
