Apple iPhone 8 (256GB, Black) - Excellent review
Summing up the iPhone 8 has been a little harder for us than previous years, simply because it’s a good phone, but it’s not the great all-round package that the iPhone 8 Plus achieves.
Pros:
- Still a nice design, Solid performance, A good, solid "normal" sized phone, Waterproof, Now sports wireless charging
Cons:
- Battery life isn't great, unable to hit a full 24 hours, Desperately needs the two rear cameras, It doesn't feel like much has changed, Expensive

You'll need to make your own mind up about this one, since it's a refined smartphone but a lacklustre upgrade. Had Apple included a fast charger and maybe some form of wireless charging pad, it would have matched the 8/10 awarded to last year’s iPhone 7 Plus.

If you own an iPhone 7, or maybe even an iPhone 6S, then the jump to the iPhone 8 is not a big one. Sure, the performance is a bit better and there is wireless charging, but that's about it. The jumps in the remaining features are not very big.
Pros:
- Excellent performance, Wireless charging, Great camera, Compact size
Cons:
- No headphone jack, Thick bezels, Battery life fluctuates

Apple launched the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus in September at the inaugural event held at the Steve Jobs theatre. Following Apple’s previous naming schemes for the iPhone, there’s an argument to suggest these devices should have been christened with the 7s moniker.

Cons:
- Lacks the latest modem features and bands., Single camera is a disadvantage for AR., Not a huge upgrade over last year's model, which is still available.

PROS: 1: FAST, Smooth operating system. 2: Stylish Glass Back & Wireless Charging. 3: Fantastic Front & Rear Camera. 4: The NEW Vibrating Button Design feels great under your finger ... ( & i really didn't think id like the new design idea but i love it ) 5: Waterproof.

I bought this very recently. Such an easy up grade treat for myself a blind old bat. Haha. After using iPads since 2012 this is great addition. I am so glad it tells me who is ringing me on each call. The ability to make texts bigger & bolder is fab too. Really happy lady

The iPhone 8 has plenty of power under the hood, but lacks the extra camera features and design upgrade of the better iPhone 8 Plus and X.
Pros:
- The iPhone 8 offers wireless charging, lightning-fast performance and small but solid upgrades to its camera, screen and speakers. Its starting storage size is a roomy 64GB, double that of the iPhone 7.
Cons:
- This phone has the same pedestrian design, missing headphone jack and battery life as the iPhone 7 -- and no dual camera either. The iPhone 8 costs a bit more than baseline new iPhones in years past, and comes only in black, silver and a new shade of gold.

Went away from apple to samsung... but now I’m back. Great phone but debating if I should’ve got the 8plus for size although still hard to justify price ... after having the smasung 8plus... it was quite the size difference. Still happy with Apples easy useability.

iPhone 8 review
There are some great things about the iPhone 8 including the addition of wireless charging, 64GB storage as standard and a fast A11 Bionic processor. However, this all comes at a higher price and everything else is largely the same so we can’t imagine or recommend iPhone 7 users upgrading.
