The iPhone 8 is small, compact, powerful, and will deliver a perfect phone experience for many, especially those that aren’t fussed with all the latest and greatest features, new design and the costs associated with them.- Small size has added appeal in among typically larger phones, Wireless charging thanks to new glass back design, Dust- and water-resistant, Powerful innards
- Lacks iPhone 8 Plus'
- camera skills, Need separate cable for Quick Charge, Glass makes it prone to drop damage, The familiar design looks dated

The iPhone 8 is now available without a contract directly from Apple for £479. The phone has undergone many price-cuts since its original release in 2017 and it’s currently at its lowest price. You might be able to pick it up cheaper through other sellers or on contract.

“The iPhone 8 hits some high notes, but it’s overshadowed by the iPhone X.”

The Apple iPhone 8 is in many ways a step forward from the iPhone 7 – but the price can be hard to justify- Wireless charging, An even faster processor, Gorgeous design
- Expensive, Disappointing battery life, No 3.5mm headphone jack

- It’s an iPhone so you know what to expect. It has a decent screen, the cameras are very clear, battery life is good and wireless charging is a bonus. Very pleased with it.
- Only gripe is the lack of a dedicated earphone socket. I know wireless is the way forward but I would prefer to have one.

The iPhone 8 is the perfect update to the iPhone 7. Battery life is better, as is the camera, and, unlike the iPhone 8 Plus, it's significantly cheaper than the upcoming iPhone X. It's difficult to get excited about, however.- Great camera, Decent battery life, Ergonomic design
- Large bezels look dated, Fast charging costs extra, Difficult to get excited about

Don’t let the iPhone 8 name fool you – this is very much the iPhone 7S, an incremental upgrade on the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 with a few additions here and there, but nothing to really wow you next to other smartphones in 2018.- Wireless charging is useful, Glass rear is pleasing in the hand, Camera is great at point-and-shoot
- Limited upgrade over iPhone 7, Bezel-heavy design looks dated, Battery only just lasts a day
