If you were looking to buy a new laptop for the new year and your budget is in the Rs 1,00,000 range then look no further. Also if you were planning to buy the MacBook Air, then only buy this version as it costs the same as the Intel version.

All of which brings us to the question of whether you should leap in and buy this first-generation M1 hardware or wait for “M2”. There are reasons to wait, especially if you were hoping for a more radical redesign that takes advantage of reduced power demands and no fans.- Phenomenal performance Whisper-quiet operation Flawless display
- No design change from previous generation
Very good product, big change from MacBook Pro 2008...
Slim, fast, display very clear, very good design...
Nice to have...
Efficient and fast processing. Light and handy compared to my MacBook Pro of the same screen size and more comfortable to use on my lap.
Runs very well
With plenty of memory makes the new Mac air easy to work with. Very impressed with it.
Apple Macbook Pro 2020 (M1, 16GB RAM, 512GB) - Excellent review
While there might not be a whole lot of difference between the M1 Air and the M1 Pro, the difference is notable if you’re someone who lives on your laptop from day to day and does more than most.- Apple Silicon is super fast, Capable of a little more power than the M1 MacBook Air, Runs both universal Mac apps and Intel apps through Rosetta 2, Handles iOS apps and games for iPhone and iPad, Possibly the best battery of any laptop, Great looking screen, Scissor-switch keyboard is top notch,...
- Not a lot of difference in power between the Pro and the Air, MacBook Air might be better value
