Asus Transformer Pad 300 Review

In the Android sphere, the Asus Transformer Prime is regarded by many as the best tablet, mainly because it flaunts some cutting-edge hardware and a killer industrial design. Well, if you prefer something a bit more easy on the wallet, you won't need to look that far – that's because the Asus...

Competitive price point; Packs a speedy quad-core CPU

Asus Transformer Pad TF300

With its newest 10-inch tablet , the Transformer Pad TF300 ($379 list 16GB; $399, 32GB), Asus eschews major hardware and design upgrades, opting instead for incremental improvements and a more value-focused remix of an existing tablet.

Slightly dim screen; Android still lacks an abundance of easy-to-find tablet-optimized apps

ASUS Transformer Pad 300 Review

History has a habit of repeating itself; just as we had to burn through our review of the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime in short order, we're on the fast track again with the new ASUS Transformer Pad 300 (TF300T).  With a tablet this hot off the press and moving to retail channels so quickly, we

Price; Performance; Overall Design; Graphics; Excellent audio

No 3G or 4G LTE connectivity; Display could be brighter; Performance not demonstrably better than Transformer Prime but far better than the original Transformer

ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 - A Prime on Plastic

At Mobile World Congress this year, the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 was revealed to come with specs closely matching those of the earlier-released ASUS Transformer Prime (TF201). Now that it has finally landed in our labs, we take a look at the differences and if it's a worthy buy.

Affordable pricing; Robust build; Comes in three colors

Plastic shell flexes; Screen not bright enough; No 3G support

Asus Transformer Pad TF300 review – finally an affordable good Android tablet

If you're looking for a good and fairly affordable 10 inch Android tablet, you won't go wrong with the Asus Transformer Pad. It's beautiful, reliable and fairly fast, despite Android going nuts from time to time.

good looking and fairly solid; nice screen; pretty good performances; 7+ hours of battery life on daily use; can be paired with a docking unit; runs Android 4.0 IceCream Sandwich

made from plastic; not the lightest or the sleekest out there; the speaker is quite bad; annoying hiccups occur from time to time

ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 review

The second-gen Transformer is a clear improvement over the original, and is the best 10-inch, mid-range Android tablet you can buy right now.

Polished; understated design; Great graphics performance; thanks to Tegra 3; IPS display offers wide viewing angles

Some performance hiccups; Battery life not as epic as on the Prime; Optional keyboard dock scuffs easily; still isn't that comfortable to type on

Review Asus Transformer Pad TF300T Tablet/MID

In our tests of the Asus Transformer Pad TF300T, we found almost no major flaws with the exception being how the browser handled complex websites. The other, more minor issue is that the display could have been as good as the one in the preceding Prime TF201.

Stable viewing angles, High performance, Great integration with the keyboard dock, The docking keyboard is a nice addition which helps extend the battery life; The display is very good

Not very bright, A 3G module; This is available at a premium in other versions of this model

Asus Transformer Pad TF300T

The new Transformer tablet from Asus costs less-and yet it still manages to impress us. A follow-up to the acclaimed Transformer Prime, the Tegra 3-powered Transformer Pad TF300T is perhaps the best bargain we've ever seen from an Android-based...

Asus Transformer Pad 300 review

The Transformer Pad 300 offers an attractive package for a reasonable price. £399 will get you 32GB of storage and the keyboard dock thrown in too. The excellent selection of ports, decent screen, competent performance and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich round-off a solid effort from Asus.
