Very pleases with my own choice!
The version I have was apparently manufactured April 2014, according to the product blurbs on the packaging, and imported same month. BB 9220 has been a great pleasure to own, and use. It is a very good looking handset and the design, both hardware and software incl.

Replacement battery
The battery is the same as the original.Works as well as the original one that came with the phone.Exactly what I wanted.

BlackBerry Curve 9220 is low budget phone and works on latest BlackBerry OS 7.1, powered by the 800 GHz processor. The hardware definitely feels awesome in hand and QWERTY pad make it better in messaging. The presence of Wi-Fi and FM Radio and good battery backup make it appreciated.

BlackBerry Curve is a very good and useful phone. Has BBM messenger and whatsapp too. Can be used for facebook. Has a small touchpad for navigating instead of arrow keys. A great phone at this price.
