When you need a wired mike, with a good "deadcat" to kill wind nose, this unit fits the bill. Inexpensive and better quality than most inbuilt mikes. I look forward to using it more.

Adds great value to a portable office for Zoom meetings, where good audio is essential. The inbuilt mic on a phone is passable, but an external mic is much clearer. The Boya MM1 is small, light and easy to attach or store. Highly recommended.
Fantastic product, very versatile - useful with my PC or phone. They included all the right cables, and seems like it will last me a few years
I bought this el-cheapo (is it Spanish?) microphone for my $3,000 Panasonic Video camera and it hugely outperforms the one that comes as standard equipment on that camera. The dead-cat is a great bonus although it's not 100% perfect at kiilling all the wind-noise. In summary, why would you not buy one of these microphones -- for the price you've got nothing to lose and it sounds exactly the same as my R0de which cost significantly more.
Got this to film youtube videos with, while it picks up sound better than an iphone mic, I still need to purchase a lavalier mic for the quality of sound I'm after.
