Very compact point and shoot camera

This is a great little camera with a decent size screen and so far all of the photos I have taken have been of relatively good quality. I haven't gone to much into the specific functions of the camera but I mainly use if to photograph items I will be selling online. With a 10 optical zoom it zeros in on fine print if you need to show a label or brand. I do intend taking this on holiday with me in a few week's time, so I will see how it goes for taking distance photographs. It is definitely much better than my phone for taking photos. You will need to buy a generic brand camera pouch as Canon do not have one to fit this particular model. I bought a Lowepro pouch which fits perfectly.

A great little camera!

A flexible compact unit, I've had a lot of fun getting crisp, detailed images with very little fuss, even under low light conditions. HD video quality, though not earth shattering, is more than adequate for a compact camera. I get about 24 hours of shooting time from the NB-11L battery. I've seen these batteries available online. Recharge time is only a couple of hours with the included recharger. Software and manual was easy to retrieve from the Canon website. Image files can be transferred to PC, smartphone, printer or cloud via wifi. USB connection to PC is possible, although the USB-2 mini-B 5 pin cable is not included. Using wifi, it is easy to control the camera remotely from a smartphone with the Canon Camera Connect app - allowing the user to take pictures and organise files.
