It does the job for photo scanning!
While I am pleased with the performance of this scanner, especially for the price, there is one issue I wasn't nuts about. When installing the software, you don't have a choice as to where to install it, so it was installed on my small SSD boot drive instead of my 2GB storage drive.

I had a Canon scanner and upgraded to Win-10. They would not release a new driver so I needed a new scanner and it was not going to be a Canon. I reviewed the ratings and this is the best I could find for my needs.

Epson Perfection V39 Flatbed A4 Scanner
I needed a flatbed scanner as my printer doesn't have a scanner integrated. This Epson Perfection V39 is great, it scans quick, it's cheap, it's sturdy and it only needs a micro usb to power. It arrived next day too!

Good, Solid Scanner for Home Office Scanning Needs
Good, fast, relatively light in weight scanner that definitely meets my scanning requirements. Color definition seems to be very good, and it is a step up from what I had before.

Awesome scanner!
We needed a scanner to my husbands work documents and needed something simple and reliable. This is perfect and very easy to use. Has many other options for pictures. Arrived very quickly by Walmart. All in all a WIN WIN!

Not connecting
Scanner was very light and its not connecting to any laptop

Easy to use and does a good job.
It's great. The only issue I have is that I often need to push the scan button twice as I get a warning message about not being able to communicate. I don't know if this is the scanner's fault or not. Other than that it does the job very, very well.

Works OK on Linux (Ubuntu), but not extremely user-friendly
It works on Linux natively without a windows VM, but the interface is very unintutive and you have to do some very (easy) steps in the terminal to get it working for you. Still a bit of a hassle to re-assemble multi-page docs manually, but this is what worked for me - Download drivers from here:...

Yes! Flatbed Scanner Under $90
I wanted a flatbed scanner next to my desk for convenience. This is it. Easily integrated with my Windows 10 application. A joy to use compared with the all-in-one in the next room.
