Garmin Forerunner 245 review
Bursting with features, the Forerunner 245 squeezes a lot into such a compact and lightweight device. Then again, it doesn't come cheap - especially for a watch made predominantly from plastic.
Pros:
- Lightweight and unobtrusive design
- Super comfortable
- even during sleep
- Great battery life
Cons:
- Still feels a little cheap
- Sleep tracking could be more accurate
- No triathlon mode or Garmin Pay

If you're a serious runner who trains daily, you can't go wrong with the Garmin Forerunner 245 Music. It provides excellent accuracy, long battery life, and plenty of in-depth metrics that keep your body in check to reach peak performance levels.
Pros:
- Highly accurate fitness tracking and heart rate monitoring
- Long battery life
- Onboard music storage
Cons:
- Pricey
- No barometric altimeter or gyroscope
- Steep learning curve

Needed a watch to track my preparation for a 1/2 marathon! My fitbit charge 2 though capable for introductory fitness activity failed to provide the in-depth analysis I needed. Took some time to adjust to the 5 buttons but smooth sailing since. I love the automatic recognition of strength moves.
