Google Pixel 7 Pro review: The best Pixel ever
Repeating last year's saga, the new Pixel 7 Pro hits the market at a fairly reasonable price point. Google's biggest flagship smartphone for the year features an excellent quality display, an extremely versatile camera, and a processor with pretty solid performance.

Although this year is all about refinement, the Pixel 7 Pro might be the best Pixel smartphone to date.
Pros:
- The Camera upgrades live up to the hype, Camera Zoom works really well at 5x and 10x, Finally a macro mode!, Battery life is good, and gets better each day, Priced very competitively in the US
Cons:
- Fast Charging is still slow, compared to the competition, Battery life is good, but a step down from the Pixel 6 Pro, Camera bump isn't matte like the Pixel 7, Tensor G2 is good, but not as efficient as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

The Pixel 7 Pro builds on the success of last year’s model, with meaningful upgrades to its camera that put it on a level with the most capable and expensive models from Samsung. It is a well-made phone with a great screen, good performance and reasonable battery life.
Pros:
- Pros: class-leading camera, 5 and 10x optical zoom, good screen, good performance, solid battery life, recycled aluminium, five years of security updates, Android 13, impressive local and photo AI features, undercuts rivals on price.
Cons:
- Cons: face unlock option not as secure as some rivals, no big bump in general processor performance, battery life short of best-in-class, fairly slow charging.

Google’s Pixel 7 Makes a Good Thing Even Better
These phones remain unbeatable when it comes to sheer value.
Pros:
- Still some of the most useful software smarts in a phone. Brighter, smoother displays than last year. Luxe designs. Daylong battery life. Some of the best cameras in a phone, especially zooming on the Pixel 7 Pro. Face Unlock convenience is nice. Competitive pricing. Five years of security updates.
Cons:
- Three years of OS updates isn't the best offer in Androidland. Screen could be brighter. The fixed-focus selfie camera is still not as sharp as the iPhone. Video performance has improved but lags behind iPhone. Face Unlock is limited.

Google Pixel 7 Pro (12GB RAM, 128GB, Obsidian) - Brand New review
Google promises all-day battery life with the new Pixel phones, and that's fair, though you likely won't get much more than that. The Pixel 7 Pro keeps the same 5000mAh battery as last year's phones, but the Pixel 7 has shrunk slightly to 4355mAh.
