Google Pixel 7 Pro (12GB RAM, 128GB, Obsidian) - Brand New review
Although this year is all about refinement, the Pixel 7 Pro might be the best Pixel smartphone to date.- The Camera upgrades live up to the hype, Camera Zoom works really well at 5x and 10x, Finally a macro mode!, Battery life is good, and gets better each day, Priced very competitively in the US
- Fast Charging is still slow, compared to the competition, Battery life is good, but a step down from the Pixel 6 Pro, Camera bump isn't matte like the Pixel 7, Tensor G2 is good, but not as efficient as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
Google Pixel 7 Pro review: a safe sequel review
- Stellar screen that’s much brighter than before
- Versatile camera combo takes superb pics
- No major battery life improvements
- Pixel 7 gets pretty close for considerably less cash
Excellect phone, ultra-outstanding camera.
No doubt the google pixel 7 pro is a great phone, plus its ultra-great and speckless camera, beating my iPhone 13 Pro to nothing. Generally, it was a very good shopping experience. I like it.
5G
For anyone wondering, this phone is fantastic and if you join the Android 14 Beta this will work with NZ 5G networks (tried spark and Vodafone)
Awesome phone for the price
Awesome high end phone for the price. 5G works for me on the beta and stable Android version. Pretty much all global features available, but not call screening unfortunately.
Google Pixel 7 Pro (12GB RAM, 128GB, Obsidian) - Brand New review
An ace Android phone that rivals the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for phone of the year in my view, but for a cut of the price. There are some shortcomings in materials and camera feature implementations, but nothing that can't be forgiven.- Distinctive design stands apart from the competition, Very fairly priced in context to other flagships, Super camera results and easy-to-use interface, Great software and battery life
- Aluminium finish scuffs far too easily, Macro Focus should be more adept (and OIS would help), Charging not the fastest, especially compared to the competition
Google Pixel 7 Pro (12GB RAM, 128GB, Obsidian) - Brand New review
Pixel 7 Pro builds on the foundation of the Pixel 6 Pro, offering a more refined design, stunning camera performance and clean software.- Camera performance, Great display, Clean software experience, Competitive price
- Not many changes from Pixel 6 Pro, HDR sharing limited, Face unlock limited
Google Pixel 7 Pro (12GB RAM, 128GB, Obsidian) - Brand New review
The Google Pixel 7/Pixel 7 Pro are almost identical - the main differences being screen size, 8/12GB RAM and 48MP Telephoto in the Pro.- Pixel 7 Pro has the best camera in 2022. Pixel 7 is not too far behind, Reasonable all-day battery life, Pixel 7 Pro has the brightest screen, but both are excellent, Smooth operation – plenty of power, Excellent Android update policy
- No external mountable SSD/Flash storage, No charger and 30W charging is so yesterday (compared to 80-125W), Fixed screen refresh instead of adaptive means a battery life hit at higher rate/res, No external alt DP display port audio/video over USB-C/HDMI
Google Pixel 7 Pro (12GB RAM, 128GB, Hazel) - Brand New review
Even with the odd niggle, there are great reasons to consider the Pixel 7 Pro. It’s a premium device inside and out, and it not only looks great, but is solid, too. For the most part, the camera system does some great things, and while it doesn’t entirely live up to the competition, the combination...- Premium look and feel, Clean Android is still a lovely experience, Camera is quite versatile for a three-camera system, Wireless charging, Water resistance, Excellent value
- Battery isn't as solid a performer as we'd like, Cinematic camera mode isn't as strong as it could be, Only three years of Android version updates versus Apple's five
Google Pixel 7 Pro review: Maybe the best camera phone
Google Pixel 7 Pro review: When I first tried out the Pixel 7 Pro I had very high expectations given that this phone puts a lot of focus on the camera. And now, I'm convinced this is one of the best cameras on a phone. Here's why I think so.
