The Huawei MateBook D 14 should be considered by all students and productivity users, especially those for whom value for money is a priority. Student favourites such as the MacBook Air and Surface Laptop come in at prices of at least £300 more, and while you will get a better performance and display with more expensive options, the MateBook D is still comfortably quality enough to delight your average laptop user

After 6 years it was time to replace my Macbook Air 13. I was looking for a similar weight and form factor but Windows 10. This is a great replacement that is just as light, great keyboard and screen. It takes some getting used to the camera in the keyboard rather than at the top of the screen but the bonus is the screen is much larger. Great business laptop (I upgraded to Pro) without paying the extra.

Handles most of my workload which comprises of microsoft office and statistic apps, while simultaneously opening 20+ tabs of chrome without showing any sign of slowing down. Also handles light gaming if the resolution/image/texture quality/setting is lowered

Sleek looking laptop with all that would expect from modern systems. Pros: Basically a Mac without the inflated price tag and OSX. A mate said my laptop makes me look "rich" (which is not true for the record). USB-C charging is amazing for portable charging but the battery life is so good that I've hardly even gotten to reap the benefits of it - Charge it overnight and it will last the whole day between classes. The camera hidden in one of the function keys is a nice security feature. Cons: Fragile keys, managed to snap the down-arrow key in half (still puzzles me). I love this smaller laptop. Feels sturdy, but not heavy and looks sleek. Affordable in comparison to some other models but they'll go up as their market share increases. Does everything I need it for and more. 100% happy

This is a great laptop if you want something that looks and feels like a mac. Light, ultra slim, great on performance (runs entry level games well), got fast charging (full charge in 1hr30min), backlit keyboard is a bonus, speakers feel very premium. Overall a great device.
