Long story short...
I received this product as part of a review program in return for an unbiased review. My previous device was a dinosaur. The moment I unboxed the Huawei P20 pro I realised that an upgrade was necessary. The jump of quality is indescribable.

Huawei P20 Pro review: style and substance from an unlikely source
I've spent every waking moment of the past 10 days in the company of the Huawei P20 Pro. This phone has surprised and delighted me like few others, and what you are about to read is a collection of happy words about it.
Pros:
- Epic battery life
- Lovely
- sophisticated design
- Exceptional camera system
- High-quality display
Cons:
- Software adaptations to the notch could be better
- No headphone jack
- Master AI image processing isn't perfectly consistent
- No wireless charging

Huawei P20 Pro
The Huawei P20 Pro's groundbreaking low-light mode and stunning twilight colour scheme make it a serious contender to Galaxy, iPhone and Pixel phones. Sadly, you can't buy it in the US.
Pros:
- The Huawei P20 Pro's three cameras snap amazing shots in low light
- Its coolest colour will turn heads
Cons:
- It lacks wireless charging, and there's no headphone jack or expandable storage
- The auto camera settings don't always produce the best results

- no 1,440p display

Chinese company Huawei has been on a streak in the past few years by selling millions of phones and quickly growing to become the world's third-largest phone maker, behind Apple and Samsung.
Pros:
- Excellent camera on P20 Pro
- especially for night photos
- Beautiful gradient glass back
- High quality OLED display on P20 Pro
- Great loudspeaker quality
- Plentiful 128GB storage
Cons:
- Blatant Apple copy
- EMUI custom interface has dated looks
- glitchy
- Pricey for what it is
- No wireless charging

Huawei P20 Pro
The Huawei P20 Pro shames every other smartphone camera in the market right now, thanks to the Leica branded optics paired with adequately sized imaging sensors. The beautiful colour treatment makes the Huawei P20 Pro a distinctive smartphone, once that you cannot mistake for another.
Pros:
- The camera lives up to the hype
- Distinctive design and colour treatment
- Excellent battery life
Cons:
- EMUI 8.1 a little buggy
- Display does not support wide-gamut colour
- Minor hiccups in some games

Huawei P20 Pro Review – the triple-camera smartphone
The Huawei P20 Pro is undoubtedly the company's best phone to-date, with improvements to the camera, software and a swanky new design.
Pros:
- Gorgeous new colour option
- Excellent battery life
- Photo zoom is class-leading
- Low-light camera performance is also impressive
- Software is stable and has some useful features
- Fast facial recognition and fingerprint scanner
- Snappy performance
Cons:
- Photos are over-processed
- Night mode is hit and miss
- Screen isn't as good as the S9

The Huawei P20 Pro is a stellar smartphone, and I'm certain you already know this if you've decided to read my review now – in June. I've been using it for a couple of months, and have travelled with it on my trip to NYC in May.
