Back in August 2017, Samsung-owned Harman announced a new Under Armour-branded on-ear sports headphone model called the UA Sport Wireless Train branded Engineered by JBL, a subsidiary of Harman. Scheduled to ship in December 2017, the UA Sport Wireless Train Headphones promised to reinvent the gym headphone. They're finally being released now for $200, with international pricing available soon.

Under Armour's new Engineered by JBL rugged on-ear wireless sport headphones are finally available almost a year after they were first announced. Was it worth the wait?

JBL continues its Under Armour collaboration with the new Sport Wireless Train on-ear gym-focused Bluetooth headphones. We don't see nearly as many on-ears as we do in-ears in the wireless exercise realm, and the $200 UA Sport Wireless Train headphones deliver a powerful, bass-forward audio experience in a secure-fitting, sweat-resistant design. If we have a complaint, it's that the price seems a tad high—a not-unheard-of side effect of co-branded products. However, you get plenty of features for your money, including a Talk Thru button that lets you hear your surroundings, and a free year-long MapMyFitness subscription. Bought these as an all purpose knock around set to wear at the gym, to and from work, etc. They seem durable and the sound is good, but the headphones start to feel like a vice grip after wearing them for a relatively short period of time. More concerning is that the headphones don’t have multipoint connection, which would allow a user to switch from one device (iPad to iPhone for example) in a seamless manner. Given that this is standard functionality for competitors in the space (all Bose headphones have this, for example), it’s a fairly significant oversight

I love these headphones. The sound is amazing, I love the oversized buttons and the easy one touch to mute your music and make your surroundings audible to talk to people and then one touch back in to my music. They are durable, I have had no issues with them and I love that the ear cups are washable! The only reason I haven’t given these 5 stars is that they are slightly big for my head (which is rare- I have a big head for a female) so with really high impact activities where I tilt my head down, sometimes they slip on my head.

Sound good ... nowhere near strong enough for gym workout small plastic that holds headphones on broke easily ...

I bought it last December and was pretty happy to use it everyday but one of the earings got disconnected today. It may pushes your head and give you headache as it's kinda tight.
