Would be better if you wern't forced to enter in your microsoft account details, but the device it's self is well made with good battery life. Video performance is good for media consumption and touch screen is responsive.

Bought this for work and it's perfect for my needs.

So far so good with a couple of things to unpick

So far it is easy to use and does everything I want it to. Not sure about two things that are worth considering before purchase: S Mode is something I wasn't aware of and limits the types of apps that can be used - currently exploring this further. Second thing is whether I need security software for it. It says it comes with it but is that sufficient? The Microsoft Store does not have Eset Nod 32 which is my preferred anti-virus software and for which I have a license but can't use on this device in S Mode. You see the problem. To find a tablet that can actually double up as an effective laptop is rather tough to find. Unless you are willing to splash the cash on the iPad Pro. The search for an Android tablet — that can also be used as a laptop —starts and ends with the rather expensive Samsung Galaxy Tab S series.

Overall, I feel the Surface Go 3 is a good device though not exceptional. Sure, I get that Microsoft is charging a premium for the Surface Go 3 (the cost drastically increases when you include the accessories).
