The Nikon Z 50 is great for landscape photography. Image quality is impressive, with excellent dynamic range to bring out more highlight and shadow detail. There isn't too much noise at higher ISO settings, so it performs okay in low light.- Great image quality., Comfortable to operate., Well-built and weather-sealed.
- Not the most portable option., Mediocre battery performance.
Nikon Z50 Twin Lens Kit (16-50)(50-250) - Brand New review
Nikon has done a great job making its first mirrorless DX camera, the Nikon Z50. It is packed full of great features, has superb ergonomics and a very intuitive menu system. The 20.9 MP sensor has similar performance as what we have seen from the Nikon D7500, with excellent high-ISO and dynamic...
Nikon Z 50 (Review Nikon Z 50)
The Nikon Z 50 is a good mirrorless camera with a lot of appeal to photographers already invested in the system, but isn't quite as capable as its rivals.- Light and compact., Big, crisp EVF., Speedy response., 11fps continuous drive., Strong 4K video quality., Built-in flash., Compatible with Nikon SLR lenses via adapter.
- Few native lenses., Subject tracking not as good as competitors., Touch features could be more robust., Lowest resolution in class., Selfie screen design is a little awkward.
Nikon Z50 Mirrorless Camera twin Lens kit - 16-50mm & 50-250mm Lens VOK050WA review
The Nikon Z6 and Z7 are great, but not all photographers want a full-frame camera. Now there’s an alternative for Nikon users wanting a mirrorless camera, the Nikon Z50. It has plenty to offer experienced photographers, with a solid build and a comprehensive feature set.
Nikon Z50 Mirrorless Camera twin Lens kit - 16-50mm & 50-250mm Lens VOK050WA review
The Nikon Z50 offers the best quality in out-of-camera JPEGs among APS-C mirrorless cameras we've tested so far, making it a fantastic camera to buy for first-time camera buyers. As a professional's second kit, it falls a bit short.

. “How can that be?!” I hear you say. The Z50 is a nice camera, it works well, ergonomically it’s near perfect, it produces nice images, but there’s nothing special about it. Because of that, it lags behind the competition.
Nikon Z50 Mirrorless Camera twin Lens kit - 16-50mm & 50-250mm Lens VOK050WA review
The Z50 is reasonably priced and doesn’t disappoint. We were super impressed by the autofocus system; it performed very well. We would have liked it to have more dynamic range, but for the price it is acceptable. Its low light performance is fine, though a bit below most mirrorless cameras.

Nikon Z50 Twin Lens Kit (16-50)(50-250) - Brand New review
The Z50 is a nice little camera that is fun to use and surprisingly capable. Its control layout will be familiar to photographers who already use Nikon DSLRs.
