What an awesome phone! I previously had a Samsung Note 2, which has a bigger screen than the K Zoom. I love this phone, because I normally carry a separate camera with me on walks. I hike a lot!

K Zoom is not only a camera with decent zoom capability but is also a phone with decent innards that performs well, almost as well as its slimmer, costlier water resistant sibling. With a single button the phone transforms itself into a digital camera.
High zoom with Xenon flash; TouchWiz works lag-free; Decent built
Bulky; Not high-end as a point and shoot
This is a suoerb bit of kit..l had its predesesor the s4 zoom .. in fact l still have it but the k zoom is a much better phone.A lot less bulky to carry and takes pics comparable to a good compact camera.I really like the fact you can adjust colour balance etc on the camera. Its also a very capable...
It was just about this time last year that we were asking some valid questions about the Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom : Is it a phone? Is it a camera? Who would buy it? Why?!? One year later, its successor has reached the market with the same functionality and almost the same form factor.
+ optical zoom lens; – bulky; ugly; hefty; – only 8GB of internal storage (5GB available; – no LED notification light; shutter button won't wake the device (unless you combine it with the volume up key; which takes up two hands; – poor battery life

The cameras on our smartphones have come a long way over the past several years, and have undoubtedly contributed to making point and shoot cameras obsolete . An important feature from these cameras that aren't easily found with smartphone camera tech though is optical zoom.
10x optical zoom; Solid build quality; Optical image stabilization
Heavy and bulky; Awkward to hold; Bad battery life
Galaxy K Zoom is a hybrid device of its own kind. There is literally no alternate available in the market for such kind of hybrid device. This gives you the best of both worlds. It has an excellent 20.7 MP 10X optical zoom camera which gives you best camera shots alongwith optical zoom capability.
The Samsung Galaxy K zoom moves the concept on from its last incarnation with 4G connectivity and a beefed up camera spec, though it's now lost the bulge grip. It's still very much a low to midrange digital camera masquerading as a mid- to high-end mobile phone, but if you need a phone with a...
Advanced camera; decent processor; expandable memory
Screen doesn't do the pics justice; bulky and heavy; battery life not as good as it could be
Here is what we know; this is a phone made for photography fanatics who want to have a serious camera and a smartphone all at once so if you can handle the size and build of the phone, keep the Galaxy K Zoom in mind.
Superb camera with 10x optical zoom; Android KitKat and decent processor
Limited internal memory and bulky design
Let's just get this out of the way now. Touchwiz; you either love it or hate it. My first Android smartphone was the original Samsung Galaxy S I9000 "iPhone killer". I didn't mind TouchWiz back then as I had nothing to compare it to, plus it didn't feel that heavy.
4.8″ HD Super AMOLED screen is bright with vibrant colours; MicroSD card slot up to 64GB; Great point-and-shoot camera with various modes; Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box
Only 8GB on board storage; Device is slippery and a bit top heavy; Doesn't sit flat due to camera lens; Navigation keys are reversed
: The Galaxy K Zoom has a proper zoom lens. If you want an excellent snapper with great zooming capabilities this could be the one.
