The Galaxy S20 Plus is the best Android phone I've used over the last year. It offers the complete package. A robust camera setup, an impressive screen, and it has the performance to match. The addition of 5G connectivity is something that some -- maybe most?
Pros:
- Performance
- Battery live
- 10x hybrid optic zoom is something every phone should have
Cons:
- Having all hardware buttons on one side is confusing
- 30x zoom isn't terribly useful.

The price of the Galaxy S20+ has already fallen significantly, shortly after Samsung launched it at 999 Euros (~$1,093). Undoubtedly, this is good news for consumers as they can get the same smartphone by spending less money.
Pros:
- very bright screen
- 120 Hz screen great to use
- modern software
- fast Wi-Fi
- 8K video recording...
Cons:
- ...but without autofocus
- limitations for 60 FPS videos from 1080p upwards
- poor web-browsing performance
- heavy throttling under load
- preinstalled bloatware

The Galaxy S20+ is no doubt an excellent flagship, which looks stylish and works flawlessly. I was most impressed by the camera for the most part. The selfie camera is what really needs to improve, and quickly.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 is the most manageable of the S20 lineup in terms of size and price, but it may get left behind with future 5G upgrades.
Pros:
- Well-sized for one-handed use
- Gorgeous 120Hz screen
- 8K video recording
- Most affordable Galaxy S20 model.
Cons:
- Lacks high-band 5G
- Shorter battery life than other S20 (and S10) models.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus review
Both the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ are exceptional all-rounders, the problem is that, in a sense, they're too similar. Beyond a larger display, there's little reason to opt for the plus model over its more compact sibling, especially when doing so adds £100 to £200 onto the price tag.

If you’re looking for a flagship phone with category-leading speakers, the Galaxy S20+ isn’t it, especially if you want to pump out bass. The sound it does provide, though, is fairly well balanced and features solid mid-tones and treble.
Pros:
- Well-balanced midrange and treble when listening to music or watching movies
- Good spatial rendering
- with good localizability and stereo balance
- Good preservation of tonal range
- Clear and intelligible recording of voices
- Great preservation of sound dynamics
- Microphone directivity improves...
Cons:
- Tonal reproduction lacks bass at all volumes
- Excessive high-end at maximum volume impairs the gaming experience
- Inconsistent spatial performances depending on the app used
- Improved volume preservation over the S10+
- but still behind current competitors
