Don't waste your cash on this one
I purchased two of these phones and after 14 days both have been consigned to the bin. They are easy to use and have good features but what both of us could not address was the expensive drain on our pre paid account.

Awful Phone
I have had this phone since last Christmas, and I haven't used it for even half of that time! It has been sat around for a few reasons. One reason is that it turns itself on and off for no reason at all! Applications open and close on their own, it doesn't touch all the time.

Do not buy
This mobile phone was given to me as a Christmas gift. The battery last for one day only. The menu button stopped working after a week. I exchanged it for a different one.

Bought this for my grandson. It looks like it would be great except for the fact that the MAC address is all zeroes, so it will not connect to any WiFi. Unless someone has some great advice on how to fix that problem, I guess I'll be returning it!

Samsung Galaxy Y and Y Pro pictures and hands-on
Apple didn't bother getting Samsung to remove the Y and Y pro handsets from its IFA stand - it must not think they are as big a deal as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, which was pulled from IFA following a new injunction. And, if we're honest - they're not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Samsung Galaxy Y Netphone Edition Review
Like what we said at the beginning of this post the Samsung Galaxy Y is one of the best entry-level Android smartphones in the market today. I just can't think of any other phone with a price tag of Php5,990 that can beat this device.

Samsung Galaxy Y Netphone Edition | Review
Well, now comes the younger brother to the Netphone set, and we're putting it through its paces. It's the Samsung Galaxy Y . That's Y as in Young. It says so right there on the box. The Samsung Galaxy Young. Okay, okay, yes that sounds kind'a tacky.
Pros:
- Great value for its price
- offering the Gingerbread experience
- if you can call it that
- at a feature phone price point
- Pretty good build quality (for its price
- Reasonably long battery life
- Did I already mention the price
Cons:
- Display doesn't do justice to the Galaxy line
- Paltry 2-megapixel bare-bones camera (yawn
- Did I already mention the display? Well
- this time
- the tiny size of the display
