Works great for gaming system
My son needed extra storage for his gaming system. I brought this home, he hooked it up and it works great! Plenty of room for all his games.

Great little back up drive, with loads of capacity.
I bought this as a replacement for a failing external hard drive, for use with Time Machine back up for our iMac. In comparison with the larger hard drive it replaces, it has greater capacity and is a fraction of the size, taking up little room on the desk. Very easy to set up for Mac only.

This thing failed on me and ended up losing a lot of data
I have two Seagate 1TB hard drives that appear to work very well. I bought this one to be the big kahuna. A hard drive that would hold big files, old files; pretty much everything that I wouldn't have an immediate use for. I loaded everything onto it and put it in a desk drawer.

Did not back up selected files on custom backup
When I used custom backup plan, it did not back up some of the folders selected for backup. I had to do 'All files' back up to get this done. Backup is fast. But seagate has to fix this issue of custom back up not backing up all folders selected.
