I've had this lens for about two weeks. Not a lot of time to develope an opinion but just some initial observations. It's going to be best as a portrait lens, the focus is sharp and accurate when the subject is close (say 2-12 feet).

Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC HSM Art Lens Nikon Mount - Brand New review
Overall, the new Sigma 30mm ƒ/1.4 DC Art is a fantastic APS-C fast prime lens that delivers great image quality with nice, sharp images, low vignetting and only slight barrel distortion. While CA is bit more pronounced versus its predecessor, overall it's a very minor issue.
