Sony Xperia J Review

Sony has a good track record for delivering decent mid-range Android smartphones at very competitive price points, and the Xperia J is the latest handset to join the party. Its 4-inch display and beefy battery are among the features that make it stand out, at least when comparing specs sheets with...

Good display; Relatively decent battery life; Cheap

Performance is below par; Horrible camera; The lack of light sensor means you have to adjust the screen brightness manually; Annoying physical buttons

The Sony Xperia J brings the styling and software of Sony's top notch Xperia T phone downmarket. Like its Bond-backed bigger brother, it packs a curved plastic shell, but there's a smaller four-inch screen and a lower power 1GHz processor and five megapixel camera.

There's a lot to be said for the Sony Xperia J's screen size - four inches, just like the iPhone 5; It's not humongous, as many flagship Android phone displays now are (The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 stretches a barely practical 5.5-inches across) - you can reach across it with one hand, and for many...

While Apple, HTC and Nokia crack on with curvaceous, beautiful designs, Sony's smartphone hardware is starting to feel a little lacklustre; The smeary black plastic looks and feels cheap, and though arced at the back, the 9.2mm deep phone seems very chunky indeed.

Sony Xperia J review: Junior league

A trimmed-down version of the Bond phone or a remake of the Xperia Arc, the Sony Xperia J knows looks are important to reasonable spenders, too, and doesn't get carried away with the level of equipment.

Sony Xperia J

HTC One V - HTC's budget One V has similar specifications to the Xperia J and comes at a similar price point. With its unique 'chin', the One V has a striking design that divides opinion.

Stylish; modern design; Sharp 4" display; 5 megapixel camera

Mid-range 1 GHz processor; Doesn´t ship with Android Jelly Bean

Sony Xperia J

The Sony Xperia J is the smaller and cheaper brother to James Bond's Xperia T , but don't expect to find this handset mingling with scantily clad women - the Xperia J is far more reserved, less flamboyant, happier to stay out of the limelight and just get on with life without frenzied car chases

Nice design; Good battery life; Decent price

Very laggy; Poor camera; Awful keyboard

Sony Xperia J review Review

At first glance it's devilishly hard to tell the Xperia T and the Xperia J apart, but the difference in raw specifications and overall user experience is as vast as the quality gap between GoldenEye and Die Another Day -- while the former is a relative high point, the latter is something of an

Appealing design; Decent screen; Impressive battery life

Sluggish performance; Terrible camera; Not much internal storage

Sony Xperia J

The Xperia J has a slick design, but does it have the performance to match?

Good screen; Long battery life; Stylish design

Sluggish performance; Poor camera; Jelly Bean update won't arrive until next year

In its new series of Smartphones, Sony has come-up Xperia J - an Android touch screen phone, which is based on the Sony Ericsson's 'Xperia Arc and Xperia Arc S' design. The phone is a striking combination of stylish design and stand-out screen size with clarity and affordability.

If you are mainly looking for a phone, which is sleek, trendy and attractive in design with an advantage of latest Android 4.0 OS, Xperia J from Sony is perfect for you; But, the terrible performance of the phone forces you to think twice before paying this big amount.

Good service

Its been a very good experience with Infibeam ... I bought Sony Xperia along with SD Card and Scratch guard..The customer care was very helpful and the item was delivered as per their commitment. One area of improvement: I ordered 3 items together but all three were shipped separately..

Sony Xperia J review

Sony's last few handsets have not impressed greatly. They've both been budget offerings, and very similar to each other. The Xperia miro is selling for around £160 while the Xperia tipo is around £120.

Long battery life; Neat hardware design; Some handy widgets

Sluggish; jerky performance; Poor camera; Short on memory
