Purchased 7-21-18 from MicroCenter. Extremely easy set up. Basically plug it in & go. Within a couple weeks problems started. Somewhere along the line the SSID of all 3 bands changed to the same name as the 2.4 band. This caused problems & took me a bit to realize what happened.
Unbelievable piece of kit! If your looking to upgrade from the standard virgin router this is what your after! Full 220MB on Wi-Fi from all rooms in the house, baring in mind it's a 3 storey building and the router is on the bottom floor! Can't speak highly enough of it.

A very powerful router that packs almost all the networking functionality any home user might reasonably want. The C5400 Lilly is gilded with wired link aggregation and now IoT support.
Excellent coverage, which is what I was looking for. Covers my whole house and front and back yard, approximately 3/4 acre. Signal goes right through my steel roof easily.
Robust QoS and blazing 5 GHz throughput puts the Archer C5400X at the front of the gaming router pack.
We all have a wireless router, and to a certain extent, it's just that thing that sits in the corner of the house, collecting dust and hopefully going about its business without a lot of involvement on the part of the user.
Mind-blowing performance; enhanced functionality via HomeCare update proves TP-Link stands behind its products
