Yoshi's Crafted World review: More than just a fluff piece
Yoshi's Crafted World is a graphical masterpiece and a well-balanced platformer caper that'll appeal to new and established gamers of any age. It represents the different approach that Nintendo takes and is yet another notch on the Switch's must-buy list.
Pros:
- Great looking platformer with wide-ranging appeal
- Lots of replayability with reverse levels and additional side-missions
Cons:
- Really not hard enough for platformer pros
- Music is enough to drive anyone insane

It's okay
It seems cute. I thought it would be a bit more challenging. While taking turns on it with my little guy it seemed too easy. It might get harder and maybe I set it to the easiest difficulty settings. However, of the games we have, I don't see him playing this one much.

Game Review: Yoshi's Crafted World
Yoshi's Crafted World was first announced at E3 in 2017 and unlike some of the other iconic household names coming to the Nintendo Switch, Yoshi hasn't really had the Super Mario treatment in terms of a marketing push, other than the odd trailer or preview here and there.

Yoshi’s Crafted World Review | Great single-player, terrible co-op
Yoshi's Crafted World is the latest in the spin-off platforming series that began with Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island . Since that entry, Yoshi has ditched Baby Mario (thank God) and is off doing his own thing. The gameplay that remained much the same, though.
Pros:
- Yoshi is absolutely adorable
- Costumes and reverse stages add a lot of replay value
- Inventive level design
- Same great gameplay fundamentals as previous entries

Yoshi's Island on the SNES is an undeniable masterpiece. From its innovative gameplay to its gorgeous aesthetic, many people, myself included, herald this title as one of the best 2D platformers of all-time.
