Apple 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi+Cellular 32GB - Space Grey MYMH2X/A review
Apple’s latest iPad opts for evolution over revolution – and modest evolution at that. But it’s easier to accept when the end product is this good- Excellent
- decent-sized screen
- Useful iPadOS 14 features
- Keyboard support
- Few upgrades
- Limited stereo speakers
Apple 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi+Cellular 32GB - Space Grey MYMH2X/A review
The eighth-generation iPad for 2020 isn’t a radical upgrade from the previous few versions of Apple’s cheapest tablet. But the company has done enough with new chips and software to keep it head and shoulders above the competition at a price point of about £300.- good performance
- good battery life
- good screen
- iPadOS
- plenty of apps
- good speakers
- long support
- recycled aluminium.
- older design
- no USB-C
- fairly slow charging
- no Fornite or cloud game streaming
- no multi-user support
- low storage on the starting model with no way to add more.
Apple 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi+Cellular 32GB - Space Grey MYMH2X/A review
There will be some people who wanted Apple to do more with the cheap iPad this time, and I can’t say I disagree. Since it got such a noticeable redesign last year, the 2020 model was always going to be more... straightforward by comparison.
Apple 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi+Cellular 32GB - Space Grey MYMH2X/A review
There’s only one major change over last year’s iPad, but it’s one that really matters: the A12 ensures this iPad will last.- The A12 is a powerhouse at this price-point
- The screen is big and bright
- App ambition Android can only dream of
- Strong accessories ecosystem
- Reflective screen and no True Tone
- Entry level 32GB storage is miserly
- Dated bezel-heavy design
- Speaker positioning remains irksome
Apple 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi+Cellular 32GB - Space Grey MYMH2X/A review
The Apple iPad (2020) carries over design elements from its predecessor, but upgrades the processor to the Apple A12 Bionic....- Excellent hardware Good display Good battery life Decent camera Touch ID Affordable
- Unsightly bezels Some apps still not optimized No Face ID Lightning port Apple Pencil not included Paltry entry-level storage
Apple 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi+Cellular 32GB - Space Grey MYMH2X/A review
And yet we can't help but be disappointed. Perhaps it's because Apple has no serious competition in affordable tablets that the last few years of iPad updates have felt so...uninspired. This is still the best low-cost tablet on the market, and we're disappointed that it isn't better.- Great value for the price
- Smart connector and Apple Pencil support
- A12 offers a big performance boost
- No improvement over last year's model beyond A12
Apple iPad 7 10.2" Cellular 2019 32GB Space Grey - Refurbished (Grade A) review
I had an iPad air 2 with 16G. Sold it and upgraded to this new iPad with 128G. Works great. No more memory constraints. Faster. A tad heavier, but it's minimal and I'll get used to it. Got an AmFilm tempered glass shield and a nice leatherette case. I'm set. Just what I wanted.
Apple 10.2-inch iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular 32GB Space Grey MW6A2X/A review
“The iPad with iPadOS is a great 2-in-1 at a great price.”- Good performance
- iPadOS greatly improves productivity
- Solid battery life
- Large screen
- 100% recycled aluminum enclosure
- Same design
- same 32GB base storage
- Smart Keyboard is expensive
iPad 10.2, difficult.
Although I have an old iPad so am conversant with iPads, I found it impossible to set up the new iPad and had to take it to computer specialist and pay to have it set up. It's a great pity that there aren't even basic instructions on paper to guide you, not everyone is completely computer savvy.
Very happy
Fast, easy to use, amazingly clear screen. Still getting to learn how to use many features that are new to me after years of an iPad mini 2.
