Apple iPhone 12 Mini (64GB, Blue) - Refurbished (Excellent) review
First iPhone since the 4S so it took a bit of getting use to after so many years. Like another reviewer mentioned the newer phones are getting bigger but I want a smaller phone and this fits the bill. Still getting used to the iPhone way of thinking but loving it so far.

Apple released four new iPhone 12 models in a total of three different sizes. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro both have a screen size of 6.1-inches, while the larger iPhone 12 Pro Max comes in at 6.7-inches; the largest for any iPhone model to date.
Pros:
- Strong performance
- Photo quality is fantastic
- OLED display
- Small design
Cons:
- Battery life might be an issue for some
- 5G support isn't widely available to benefit everyone

The iPhone 12 mini is the closest you can get to the good old iPhone 5s. And it's good!
Pros:
- Tiny
- cute
- pocketable
- comfortable
- Same great display as all iPhone 12 series
- Same great camera as iPhone 12
- MagSafe is cool and has potential
- Fast performance
- lots of headroom
Cons:
- The camera module looks a bit goofy on a mini phone
- No charger
- no headphones in the box
- Battery can drain fast
- 64 GB starting storage is OK
- but feels a bit stingy
- 60 Hz refresh rate

iPhone 12 mini Review
If you’re looking for an iPhone 12 and think picking up the mini version will save you £100/$100, then I think you’re looking at it wrong. You shouldn’t buy this iPhone because it’s cheaper, you should buy it if you’ve been hankering for a smaller phone and are happy with the sacrifices that come with it. For most people, I still think the regular iPhone 12 is the best buy.
Pros:
- Great to see phones this size make a return
- No feature sacrifices for the smaller display
- Great camera with excellent video
- Lovely new design
Cons:
- Battery life is notably worse than other iPhone 12 models
- Notch seems more irritating on the smaller screen
- You'll want to buy a charger separately

- Same great cameras as on the iPhone 12
- 5G supports fastest mmWave - if you can find it
Cons:
- Battery life could be better
- No 120Hz display

The Apple iPhone 12 Mini was, for me, a real throwback to the days of compact smartphones before we called them compact, and for many people in and around my generation whose first smartphones were the iPhone 3, 4, and 5, the size of the new 12 Mini will be enough of a draw on its own.
Pros:

- A14 Bionic performance
- Pleasing camera performance
- The most customisable Apple software ever
Cons:
- Battery life is the compact compromise
- Only 12W wireless charging
- Entry-level 64GB model is not enough storage in 2020
