iPhone 14 Reviews: More of an 'iPhone 13S' but Still a Solid Mainstream Phone
Apple has given select media outlets and YouTubers access to the new iPhone 14 ahead of when it begins arriving in customers' hands on Friday, September 16. There are two models of the iPhone 14, the standard 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and the larger 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus.

Apple iPhone 14 Review: Getting Flashbacks
That's not to say the iPhone 14 is disappointing . More a reflection that last year's iPhone is still competitive, and that the considerations around price feel more relevant at this point in the market versus those considering splashing out on an iPhone 14 Pro.
Pros:
- Improved low-light camera performance, Clever safety features (you hope you won't need)
Cons:
- Improvements feel evolutionary, eSIM may prove a headache, iPhone 13 offers much the same for $100 less

Apple iPhone 14 (128GB, Purple) AU - Excellent review
Between the lack of obvious differences and the questionable value, it's difficult to recommend the iPhone 14. It's not that the iPhone 14 is bad, because it's not. This is a great phone, though it's one where the differences are largely negligible.
Pros:
- Still a nice design, Slightly improved camera, Autofocus camera on the front is handy, Solid performance, Wireless charging, Water resistance
Cons:
- No 120Hz display, Satellite calling feature doesn't work outside the US or Canada, Not much has changed: this is basically last year's iPhone, Value is questionable when there's not much of a difference

Apple iPhone 14 review: Minor tweaks but still a great phone
The iPhone 14 isn’t much of an upgrade over the iPhone 13, but it’s still a great device and an upgrade for anyone coming from the iPhone 11 or older.
Pros:
- Great camera, Good battery, Emergency features are cool, Still excellent performance

- Display could use some upgrades

Apple iPhone 14 review: The best value in an iPhone
Don’t fall for the iPhone 14 being ‘boring’ talk as if you are upgrading from an older iPhone — XR or iPhone 11 — this is an excellent upgrade. Even for iPhone 12 users, the performance, cameras and battery will seem much, much better.

“It’s just another iPhone.” That’s how I’ve heard a lot of people refer to the iPhone 14 — and for good reason. Compared to last year’s model, the iPhone 14 is a very familiar smartphone.
