iPhone 15 review: a big step forward

“The iPhone 15 is one of the most significant iPhone upgrades ever. The Dynamic Island, USB-C, a 48MP camera, and more make it delightful to use.”
Pros:
  • Big camera upgrade, USB-C, Matte glass feels incredible, Dynamic Island, Curved edges are more comfortable, Reverse wired charging
Cons:
  • 60Hz refresh rate display, Most color options are too light, Can get warm when running intensive apps, Won't get Apple Intelligence in iOS 18

Apple iPhone 15 5G (6GB RAM, 128GB, Blue) - Brand New review

While the iPhone 15 might not have the advanced features of the pro model, it’s an impressive phone that feels great in the hand. Not only is it powerful, thanks to the A16 Bionic chip but the new 48MP camera means it takes incredible photos too.
Pros:
  • Great-looking device, Feels solid and well made, Impressive performance
Cons:
  • Lacks always-on display, Some users may miss a long lens, Slower USB 2 transfer

Apple iPhone 15 5G (6GB RAM, 128GB, Blue) - Brand New review

There are upgrades across the board for the iPhone 15 – even if we’ve seen them on other iPhone models before. The camera benefits from a higher-resolution main sensor, the Dynamic Island is an obvious improvement over the notch and there’s even been a slight price cut in the UK.
Pros:
  • Welcome switch to USB-C, Really good camera, Far more ergonomic than iPhone 14, Dyanmic Island is much better than the notch
Cons:
  • No true telephoto camera, Still no 120Hz display, USB-C doesn’t improve charging or data speeds

Apple iPhone 15 5G (6GB RAM, 128GB, Yellow) - Brand New review

With the iPhone 15, Apple offers enough to make this year’s device a worthwhile upgrade. While iOS 17 can definitely breathe new life into old phone, even those who just picked up an iPhone 14 last year might want to consider trading it in.

Cons:

  • Dynamic Island and mute toggle switch onboard, Versatile camera system with true-to-life photo quality, Constructed with 75% recycled aluminum, IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, Equipped with a USB-C port, Provides all-day battery life
Cons:
  • Display limited to a 60 Hz refresh rate, Lacks Always-On Display (AoD) feature, Restricted to USB-C 2.0 speeds due to SoC design
