Apple iPhone 16
It might not be that exciting for iPhone 15 owners, but for older iPhone owners, there’s a lot to love about the iPhone 16 experience – it’s just a shame the screen is still capped at 60Hz.
Pros:
- New Action Button & Camera Controls, Two-generation jump in processing power, Relatively compact and portable
Cons:
- Camera Control placement isn’t ideal, Apple Intelligence isn’t the best – yet, No telephoto lens

Apple iPhone 16 review: Unexpectedly irksome
The iPhone 16 is a solid enough phone but has bugged me more than usual or expected, even beyond the lack of Apple Intelligence. If you’re set on an affordable and compact flagship model then it does the job but, AI promises aside, it’s only worth it if you’re jumping at least two generations.

- Attractive design, Powerful performance, Compact and colourful display, Solid camera performance

- No Apple Intelligence at launch, Camera Control placement, Some software bugs, 60Hz refresh rate

For once, the base model iPhone doesn’t feel like a compromise. Since it’s missing a key feature at launch, we can’t give it a perfect score, but wait a couple of months to get your hands on it and you’ll be the owner of the best base-level iPhone in years.

iPhone 16 Review: How Untypical, Apple!
Apple introduced its new iPhone models with the accompanying motto, "It's Glowtime". The in-house AI integration of "Apple Intelligence" was supposed to make the iPhone glow, it's just a shame that it's not ready yet. Is it still worth upgrading to the iPhone 16?

Cons:

The iPhone 16 offers nearly everything I want from a phone
This year's iPhone 16 line blurs the line between the "Pro" and the base-level iPhone by offering a new camera button and the Action Button, alongside the A18 chip.
Pros:
- New colours look great, Overall impressive smartphone package, Photography Styles and Camera Control Button are great
Cons:
- Still no 120Hz display, Apple Intelligence features are nowhere to be found, In some ways, not that much of an upgrade over the iPhone 15
