Review: Apple iPhone 7
Say what you will about Apple, love it or hate it, the company invented the smart phone as we know it. The large screen, control by touch, a minimal set of physical keys. They were pretty much Apple (even if some of the ideas may have been drawn from elsewhere.
Pros:
- The iPhone is an almost universal standard
- very good performance overall
- a pleasure to use
- good fingerprint recognition
Cons:
- Fairly expensive
- entry level memory a bit limited given it can't be upgraded

Apple iPhone 7 review
The iPhone 7 is polished enough to feel new all over again, headphone port or not
Pros:
- No longer as allergic to water as a Mogwai
- A screen that isn't defeated by bright sunshine
- Camera quality takes another step up
Cons:
- Battery life still needs work
- That Jet Black finish is a total fingerprint magnet
- Where's my headphone port

Apple iPhone 7
Apple has a reputation for deciding it knows best. It led the way in ridding the world of floppy drives, made laptops skinnier by losing the optical drive and turned the internet on its head with its refusal to support Flash on mobile devices.
Pros:
- Premium build
- Fast performance
- More vibrant colours
- Good camera
- Refined
- rhythmic sound
Cons:
- No headphone jack is inconvenient
- Bundled EarPods are average
- Battery life still needs work

Apple iPhone 7 review: Refining the design rather than ripping it up and starting again
"It is the best iPhone yet", proclaimed Tim Cook on the stage at Apple's Special Event in San Francisco at the beginning of the September last year. He would be right, the iPhone 7 is, but it is not the leap of technological advancement that many of the fanboys would have liked or hoped for.
Pros:
- Refined design and new finishes make for best-looking iPhone to date
- great camera with image stabilisation
- iOS 10 makes for the most in-depth use yet
- new Home button works brilliantly
Cons:
- More like an S version of the iPhone 6S than a total overhaul
- still no wireless charging
- no dual cameras feature here
- no true battery improvement
- no headphone jack will irk some
