Great noise isolation and no-worry battery-free power from the phone makes these my go-to work headphones.

Apple may include a 3.5mm to Lightning dongle with the newest iPhones, but honestly, that's not the best solution for everyone (neither are the included EarPods!). The dongles are easy to lose, for one, and a great way to get around that is to invest in some headphones with a Lightning connector.
The JBL Reflect Aware are in-ear headphones packed with up-to-date tech. They feature active noise cancellation and have an iPhone Lightning connector rather than a normal 3.5mm jack.
Energetic; fun sound; Comfortable
Relatively poor active noise cancellation; Overly bassy with ANC engaged; Some strange noises when using ANC; A little expensive
The JBL Reflect Aware style is pretty simple; they honestly don't have much flash to them, but that is actually a good thing. The gray and black colorway is pretty pleasing aesthetically, and it blends in well with my Matte Black iPhone 7.
Durable; sweatproof; and appropriately lengthy cable
Nothing
Sporty types will find these particularly appealing thanks to the secure fit and water resistance, and though the on-board noise cancelling isn't outstanding, it does enough to put it on par with other in-ears we've heard. Most of all though, these in-ears deliver in the sound department.
Lively; engaging sound; Tight; punchy bass; Decent detail; Active noise-cancelling; Good fit; Water resistant
Treble lacks a bit of refinement; ANC could be better; Drains phone battery quicker with ANC on; A little pricey
The JBL Reflect Aware does Lightning-Port earphones well and gives it a good name, pushing the limits and audio boundaries that some equally premium 3.5mm earphones can't seem to reproduce.
Is it time to start buying lightning headphones? If you have an iPhone 7 or will, then maybe! JBL just released their Reflect Aware in-ear headphones with built-in lightning connector. There's no regular headphone plug, but the lightning plug allows these headphones to do some incredible things.
Sounds fantastic; Colors!; Easy to use; No setup required; Reflective; Sweat-resistant; Noise cancellation works really well; Custom EQ is great; They actually stay in-ear; Carrying case included
Could get louder; Could use an extra-small ear tip option; Lightning plug only
If you're an Apple iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus user then you might be looking for a new pair of wired headphones. The JBL Reflect Aware are one of the first pair of headphones that comes with a Lightning Connector allowing you to use the Lightning port for sound.
Great sound; noise cancelling works great; adjustable noise cancelling in app; reflective cable for runners; sweat proof
For iPhone only; price point may turn some buyers off
It beats BOSE by a mile It's a great headphone to use at the gym.
Easy to install
I wish they had a longer cable
Unless you've been living under a rock you'll have heard that Apple has dropped the standard headphone jack on its new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus handsets, instead pressing the Lightning port into service for audio output in addition to its existing charging and data transfer duties.
Battery-free noise cancelling; Good-fitting earbuds; Strong; powerful bass
Muddy sound; Poor sound separation
