The Logitech K400 fits a nice market niche by providing a multi-media centric keyboard that bridges the gap between computer and television. If you want to use your computer more like a TV or your TV more like a computer then this keyboard is good choice.

I bought this keyboard to use with my tablet and I ended up using it for everything. I use it for my laptop (instead of the built in keyboard), my tablet, and even my work computer.

I bought this product as I wanted to connect a laptop to a TV and did not want to keep getting up to use the keyboard. This proved to be the answer to my prayers. I plugged the tiny dongle into the usb port and it was ready to use without the need of installing any drivers.

Reliability

Not the best keys, a bit sticky after a while but the trackpad and general layout of the keyboard work really well with windows. Have tried others recently to replace it and had to send them back. This is still the reference design at this price point.

I bought the keyboard to control a laptop on a boat- the laptop being protected from any water under a cover. It works fine- the battery life does not appear to be an issue in three months of use. I have not noticed any interference with anything else on board.

Excellent keyboard with the helpful feature of having a left click button in the top left corner as well as below the track pad, this means you can navigate with your right thumb and click with your left. Have bought 4 of these for different people and wouldn't look for anything else.

Use this with my myGica media player. Has been running for months and months on the same batteries and it makes using the media center so much easier than the supplied remote. Works from a range of around 20ft away with no problem.

This is a good lightweight portable keyboard perfect for TV computers or displays. Can use it a considerable distance away from the computer. Works with Linux "out of the box"...no drivers to install.
