Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra goes big in every way imaginable, with 108MP photos, a 100x camera zoom, 40MP selfies, and a 6.9-inch 120Hz display. With over-the-top internal specs on a par with some laptops, you'll pay more for this phone than any non-foldable phone before it, but that's not surprising. What is surprising are some of the bugs we've encountered that keep the Ultra from reaching its full potential.- Impressive camera zoom range
- Samsung’s best display yet
- Fast 5G speeds confirmed
- Camera quality is inconsistent
- Price is a new kind of ridiculous
- You’re going to need a bigger hand
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Cosmic Grey 128GB 5G SM-G988BZADNZO review
- Ecran lumineux
- Prix élevé
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra review - Good but not quite ultra gaming
A fine phone with an excellent screen and ample horsepower for gaming. However, the Galaxy S20 Ultra is very expensive, and Samsung's choice of chipset for the global model isn't as potent or well-supported as those of rival flagship phones.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra review: Five months later, brains match brawn
Update: Five months after its initial release, Samsung has fixed bugs that dogged the camera system — and realized the promise of the ultimate smartphone. Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Ultra is a lavishly-equipped device with an extravagant price tag. $1,400 gets you an opulent 7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the best internals you could ask for in an Android phone, 5G compatibility with all the major networks and, perhaps most important, a monstrous camera setup. With 108MP on the main lens, 48MP on the telephoto camera, and up to 100× zoom, it’s clear which feature Samsung expects to deliver the knockout punch. But despite its robust stats, this heavyweight was initially held back from becoming the undisputed champ among the best camera phones this year due to bugs that plagued the cutting-edge camera system. Through a series of patches released in April and July, Samsung eventually addressed most of the camera issues. So do the brains finely match the brawn? Or should you look to t...- Big, gorgeous screen with 120Hz refresh rate
- Zoom lens frames up nice shots
- Battery life that breezes through a day
- Top notch internals with 5G for every major carrier
- Expensive
- Zoom system seems gimmicky
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G Review
Samsung has done a great job this year with their Galaxy S20 Ultra. It builds upon past Galaxy S devices but has some issues like it being an absolutely huge phone, a high price tag and the 100x Space Zoom feature being kind of useless.- Excellent 120Hz display, Long battery life, Quick performance thanks to 12GB of RAM, Great camera with good video and low-light performance, Large storage options plus a microSD card slot, 5G support
- Most expensive model in the S20 family, The in-display fingerprint sensor doesn’t work all the time, The phone is enormous in size, 100x Space Zoom is gimmicky
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Cosmic Grey 128GB 5G SM-G988BZADNZO review
The Galaxy S20 Ultra is Samsung’s superphone to conquer all superphones. Everything pushed to excess. That excess is great when it means a massive battery, future-proofed 5G and a camera that’s leagues ahead of where Samsung was a year ago.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra (Review Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra)
The Galaxy S20 Ultra has the potential to become the best phone you can buy, but it's not worth $1,400 until Samsung fixes some bugs.- Only super-zoom phone in the US market, Handles all three types of US 5G, Gorgeous 120Hz screen, Long battery life
- Expensive, Massive, Camera focus problems, 100X zoom is a useless gimmick
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Cosmic Grey 128GB 5G SM-G988BZADNZO review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is ultra-everything. It offers every possible feature anyone could want in a phone and more. While the device boasts an impressive display, rapid performance, and powerful cameras, the price tag is so high that the phone is unaffordable to many.- Gorgeous screen Blazing-fast performance Flexible cameras Good battery life Solid gaming experience Expandable storage
- Boring design Cumbersome to use 8K video is overkill for now No headphone jack Crazy expensive
