Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Cosmic Grey 128GB 5G SM-G988BZADNZO review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is a serious tool for both stills and video. The Mobile World Congress is still a few weeks away, but this already looks like it could be the best smartphone of 2020.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Cosmic Grey 128GB 5G SM-G988BZADNZO review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is not just the most capable camera phone in the Galaxy family, it is arguably the most impressive camera phone ever. Its 108MP camera proves to be more than a numbers play.- Excellent compositional versatility
- Great dedicated Night mode
- Big
- bold screen
- Disappointing battery life
- 100x zoom images are very soft
- Night images could be more consistent in Auto mode
Galaxy S20 Ultra review: Camera is amazing but battery life and design aren't
Excellent camera features aren't quite enough to overcome an awkward design, questionable battery performance and a sky-high price. Cheaper Galaxy S20 models will have broader appeal. There's no denying that the Galaxy S20 Ultra is something bold. Something special. It exists to show off its camera features. There's the 108-megapixel sensor, capturing scenes for detailed crop-ins that invariably make you say "wow!" Then there's the 100x zoom lens that reveals lettering, faces and architectural details you can't see from afar with the naked eye. And the beautiful 40-megapixel selfie camera that won't spare your feelings when you turn off beauty mode.- Boundary-pushing cameras
- Bright, sharp, colorful photos
- Strong battery life on default settings
- Feels thick and heavy
- Protruding camera bump
- Uneven battery performance
- Overpriced for nonessential features

When Huawei launched the P30 Pro, it created a stir in the industry that a smartphone can achieve a shooting range of 50x zoom. When the Mate 30 Pro was announced, Huawei seemed to take a step back and limited to 30x zoom.

If you’re a Samsung fan, I don’t think I’ll have to convince you to buy this phone. It’s exceptional. However, if you’re on the fence about upgrading or maybe not familiar with Samsung phones, or you’re simply turned off from the idea of a $1,400 phone, let me tell you that this is a phone I could...- Specs

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Cosmic Grey 128GB 5G SM-G988BZADNZO review
For anyone picking up the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra for the first time, what will register immediately is its weight.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Cosmic Grey 128GB 5G SM-G988BZADNZO review
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has to prove a lot to justify its ultra-high price tag of PHP69,990 (12GB + 128GB). For PHP14,000 more than the S20+, you’re essentially getting a bigger screen, bigger battery, faster charging, a new set of cameras, and the vague possibility of 5G (here in the...
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra Cosmic Grey 128GB 5G SM-G988BZADNZO review
There's little reason to buy a Galaxy S20. Samsung doesn't have any proprietary hardware or software that differentiates the device from the rest of the Android market. Right now, Samsung's size gives it the advantage of being one of the first to ship the Snapdragon 865, but if that's something you...- The 120Hz display is wonderful
- It's buttery smooth and an improvement over 90Hz
- It's just a shame it doesn't run at max resolution.
- The sticker shock
- The in-screen fingerprint reader is still the same tiny, first-gen sensor that was in the Galaxy S10
- The cameras are a mess. Focus is slow and frustrating, and you'll miss shots waiting for it to catch up. The overhyped "100x zoom" is a smeary mess of pixels.
