Mashable Choice highlights the best of everything we cover, have experienced first-hand and would recommend to others. The RX100 Mark III is Sony's third-generation high-end point-and-shoot. The $800 camera succeeds the RX100 Mark II.

Third Time's a Charm When I reviewed the original RX100 two years ago my closing comment was "The summary judgement for me is that the new Sony RX100 is hands-down the most appealing pocket-sized digital camera yet.

Sony RX100 III review

Like the Sony RX100 before it, the Sony RX100 II found favour amongst discerning photographers looking for a high quality compact camera that will slip into a jacket pocket. What sets the RX100 series apart from most other pocket-sized compact cameras is that it has a 1-inch type (13.2x8.8mm) sensor...

The RX 100 III has great ergonomics and superb shooting capabilities. It's not all that better from the RX 100 II, unless you really appreciate a viewfinder. Filled with features that a modern camera should certainly be equipped with like Wi-Fi and NFC the camera makes quite an impact with the...

Sony RX100 Mark III Review

Four months into 2015, I still wouldn't give up this camera for any other in the market, because even for its price of Php44,990 (lower for cash purchases and in other retailers), there is just no camera that's near as good as this one that can fit in your pocket.

Included memory card not fully compatible

Beware, the included memory card from Newegg is not fully compatible with this camera; i cannot use the xavc s codec for videos unless it is a 64gb card. I bought this from Newegg because of the included memory card, and not cannot fully use the camera unless I buy another one from them.
Pros:
  • Great camera with all features that you can think of available
Cons:
  • No BOSS (balanced optical steady shot) like on camcorders
  • Very high price
  • Requires a 64gb memory card for xavc s codec

Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 Camera - Mark 3 DSCRX100M3 review

Sony’s original Cyber-shot DSC RX100 model was notable for combining a physically large 1-inch type CMOS sensor and relatively high-speed stabilized 28-100mm f1.8-4.9 Zeiss zoom in a small and compact body not much different from rivals using the much smaller 1/1.7-inch type sensors.

Overpriced

I check for this product locally as well and found that the prices on flipkart for this product is highly inflated. I checked with Sony showroom and they are pricing it at 43k instead of 53k at flipkart.
