Great product, but have faith in the customer
I really like Crutchfield. I bought speakers from them via phone before internet ordering was a thing. Their staff philosophy has not change. Knowledgable and very helpful. That said, I really like the DSC-RX100 III I purchased as an open box item.
Pros:
- Compact, great resolution, fast from power on to picture
- So far has lived up to reviews
Cons:
- Response via email from customer service could have been better
- Particularly compared to their phone assistance

Sony RX100 III : Still a modern classic
Small but perfectly formed, the Sony RX100 III makes a modern classic even better

This product functions like it should, and does provide a better hand hold. However, the adhesive seemed pretty weak. I attached my grip last night, and was able to pull it right back off this morning. I was tempted to super glue it, but for as much as this cost, it should at least stay put.

A clever little camera that deserves more respect
This camera was bought to be a companion to my existing camera equipment. It is capable of producing competition quality images and I predict that it will probably get more use than my cumbersome DSLR. However, it is seriously let down by the instruction manuals that Sony provide.

Great pocket camera
These days nobody seems to want to bother carrying a "proper" camera. The popular impression is that a phone camera is all you need. But the picture quality from my recent purchase at John Lewis – a Sony RX100iii – is just so much better than anything that makes a call.

no optical viewfinder
My biggest disappointment with most compact cameras is the lack of an optical viewfinder. I have a sony DSC P10 and a sony HX5V. I prefer the DSC P10 and would never buy another camera without an optical viewfinder.

Awesome point & shoot
After much studying I settled on the Cybershot MX100. Just went to the Canadian Rockies where the camera got a good workout. Excellent pictures, great view finder, extremely portable. This camera offers all that's needed for a handheld point-and-shoot.
