A pocket rocket - near DSLR quality, but with idiosyncrasies
I took my time deciding to buy this, despite the great price. I usually shoot Nikon, and have an X100T as a pocket/street camera, but I knew that technology is developing and eventually I'd be able to find a truly pocket-sized camera which could deliver IQ on a par with a modern DSLR.- Good Sized Screen
- Great Resolution
- Truly pocket-sized
- Careful processing is vital
- Takes getting used to
A clever little camera that deserves more respect
This camera was bought to be a companion to my existing camera equipment. It is capable of producing competition quality images and I predict that it will probably get more use than my cumbersome DSLR. However, it is seriously let down by the instruction manuals that Sony provide.Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 Camera - Mark 3 DSCRX100M3 review

Even though this camera is easy to put in your pocket, it still packs features that are more commonly found in larger models
At the heart of Sony's small Cyber-shot RX100 III is a 20-megapixel sensor that can capture images at a quality level that's usually reserved for bulky digital SLRs. That's the major distinction between this compact camera and competing models; it's designed for those of you who want a truly...- Good sensor captures plenty of detail
- Built-in EVF and flash
- Hinged screen
- NFC is cumbersome
- Focus wasn't always on point
Excelent Camera but poor accessories
The camera is for sell in Canada and Europe but the quality looks the same as ones offered in the US market. The extra battery quality is extremely useless. It gives you only couple of tens of shots. The tripod is so weak and the case does not work well.
There are praises for this camera everywhere. I mean I read a lot of reviews for this camera, before I bought it. I believe Sony RX100 III is worth praises. And yes, I am not saying this because I bought this camera – I am telling you this because I really loved it.
