WD Cloud Drive

There are only two kinds of computer users out there ... Those that have lost data ... and those that will, which is why it's necessary to back up your data, as your computer is just a machine, but your data is invaluable.

BUYER BEWARE

"BEWARE. This product does not work as advertized. Performance is unusualy slow and the device is generally unreliable. Not a device you want to trust your precious DATA on. Until Western Digital resolves these issues or recalls the product I would recommend looking at an alternate solution.

WD's latest offering in the NAS segment has the makings of a good product, but suffers from a number of avoidable flaws. Western Digital isn't new to the storage game, but with the My Cloud, the hardware vendor is looking to offer a seamless method through which users can sync and access their files...

WD is in the process of phasing out WD2go. But WD2go users can update to the free My Cloud app. The good news is that the My Cloud app is backward-compatible with My Book Live and older products. WD2go isn't completely gone, however.
