Apple iPhone 13 review: The iPhone for everyone
Although not drastically different from its predecessor, the boost to battery life for this generation makes it an ideal choice for those seeking a big-screen device. Sure, you do miss out on a handful of nice-to-have features compared to the Pro model - including the telephoto zoom lens and 120Hz fast-refresh display - but the iPhone 13 is still an excellent all-round device that, importantly, doesn't cost quite as much.
Pros:
- Big and bright display
- Great camera performance
- Good battery - a clear boost over its predecessor
- Solid performance
Cons:
- No telephoto zoom lens
- No fast refresh-rate display
- Some camera shutter lag in low-light conditions

Even though the iPhone 13 is very much an incremental step forward, it includes useful new features like a more powerful processor, the excellent Cinematic video mode and a brighter display.
Pros:
- Still a great all-around smartphone package, Includes most of the 'Pro' series' best feature, Design still looks great
Cons:
- No 120Hz display, Camera improvements are marginal, Not much of an upgrade over last year

iPhone 13 review
The iPhone 13 isn’t a game changer for Apple’s series of smartphones, but it’s an important iteration that offers better battery life, a better processor and an upgraded camera setup than iPhones that have gone before it. If you’re looking for a fast and capable smartphone, and don’t need the extra features of the pricier Pro model, this is a top choice.

Pros:
- Impressive cameras. 128 gigabytes of base storage. Longer battery life on the full-size model.
Cons:
- Battery on the Mini is a bit weak. Otherwise there’s not much to dislike.

iPhone 13 review: Familiarity is part of the phone's charm
Apple delivers a delightful upgrade in its new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini. The iPhone 13 and 13 Mini received a number of significant upgrades including new cameras, a bigger battery, more storage and a brighter screen. The iPhone 13 is a delightful upgrade to last year's already wonderful iPhone 12 family. Some will be disappointed because it's not radically different from previous models, but that's actually part of the charm. Familiarity has been one of the keys to Apple's success with the iPhone, and the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini are those same reliable friends that seemingly never change.

In my opinion, the iPhone 13 is a bigger update to the series than the iPhone 12 was. The iPhone 12 represented a major design update, and one that I’m glad has stuck around. But the iPhone 13 offers improvements where it really counts — the battery, and the camera.

Apple iPhone 13 5G (128GB, Pink) - Excellent review
Those niggles aren’t enough to sour us on the iPhone 13, as it’s a really great phone. While the iPhone 12 was an easy phone to like, the iPhone 13 is easier to adore. This phone takes everything that worked about the iPhone 12 and somehow makes the package even better.
Pros:
- Lovely design, Great camera, Cinematic mode extends the camera's capability, Low-light camera works a treat, Solid performance, Supports 5G, Battery capable of hitting a full day, Wireless charging, Water resistance
Cons:
- No macro mode, No 120Hz display
